"You have to grow a thick skin on here unfortunately. Some people can get quite bold hiding behind their computer screens. However, I don't think in my on and off 3 years on here I've ever been called a timewaster for saying to someone that I'm not attracted to them. You may want to look at how you are composing your emails and try and let them down more gently, if that's possible. I'm not saying you're not, but from my experience the nicer I treat people, the nicer they treat me. If I have a bad day I tend to get more abuse as I probably come across more defensive or harsh.
