If your a manager of an average midtable team and can buy just 1 footballer, past or present, who wud it be.

IMO no point in buyin a great striker if he'll never get the ball.

Maldini was an unbelievable player all right though i always found it amazing than in 20 years as a professional was never voted Italian player of the year, someone obviously didnt like him
