Worse then fake profiles

There's been a few threads recently about fake profiles and this got me thinking about a couple of incidents that haopened involving a couple profile when I was on Fab last time round.

My partner who had his own single profile was contacted by this couple (verified by a no of guys.....one of whom we had met socially a few times) mid week about 5ish living over an hours drive away asking him to meet that night abround 9 or 10. He checked if I was ok with that, told them he was interested, sent face pic and asked for theirs but they refused (it did say on the profile they dont send face pics). He was also told he wouldnlt be stayimg the night......have fun and go after it. My partner decided to go anyway and duly arrived home in the early hours having had his fun.......grand!

About 4 to 6 weeks later a guy who was fairly new to Fab and to whom I had chatted to a few times was askimg me for some advice on getting a meet. He knew I didnt meet unverified guys . I saw he was from roughly the same area as this couple and I knew they met single guys so I suggested he contact them as they seemed a good possibility. He replied that he had already mailed them. They had said they were interested in meeting him and would verify him after it. Needless to say he was delighted. Then they said send us some credit for our phone n we can chat there. He did and that was the last he heard from them! He subsequently blocked them. I dont know if he reported them. I told my partner the story and asked if he had been asked for credit. He said he hadnt but I could tell there was sometihng. So I pressed him on it and he said they did tell him to bring drink with him. Now they knew he was driving and not staying the night so they would be having all the drink themselves!

Moving onto another 2 or 3 months later and I got a mail from a good friend on here saying 'can you believe this mail I just got?' The mail said something along the lines... 'will meet you for a fuck if you send some phone credit'. Alarm bells immediately went off in my head and I asked him if the mail was from such n such. He said 'yes! How did you guess?'

So the point of this post is that IMO this type of profile is worse than a fake profile. I know people join Fab for various reasons but I feel this is well out of order and has no place on here. This kind of behaviour is cutting very close to the bone of a certain type of activity and I dont mean swinging!

What do other people think? Do you agree or disagree? Are there other profiles here doing similar? If there are .....should we be allowed warn others and if so how can we do that without breaking the rules?

I've heard of similar things to this happening, I think it is totally out of order and some people have a brass neck on them to ask a total stranger to top up their phone for them!! unbelievable, pretty scummy behaviour in my view.

I hear what your saying but if anyone demanded drink, phone credit etc from me I wouldnt go ahead with the meet.....each to their own.... the guys probably didn't see it as a problem.

On the flip side of that i have been asked what will it take for me to meet a certain person. do u want call credit, petrol money, any money ,vouchers, to be brought clothes shopping, pay my car tax , all sort of money offers.its very odd i think. naturally i said no thanks and blocked them but the requests are pathetic

This site is meant to be about mutual fun, when you start trading off items in exchange for a ride it is probably a different site ya should be on lol. Having said that though we have brought alcohol to meets before just as a case of being polite, it just depends on the situation, wouldn't be toppin up anyones phone for em though, they can swivel!

Unfortunately never been offered anything....probably different when your a cpl meeting a cpl....but any single guys iv met never offered any inducement ....car tax?beyond belief lol

I too have had offers of petrol money and phone credit and clothes shopping. I've also taken alcohol to parties and not been able to drink and payed hotel rooms. I've had guys show up with presents of wine or lingerie

However I've never asked nor expected or accepted

I have to admit I was guilty of this for one meet, had been in a rush, guy texted me to say he was on way and I was doing a last minute check and discovered no milk and didn't have time to rum to shop as still had to shower so I asked could he bring a pint. I'm a bad bad person

in fairness though I don't drink a lot of milk as take my coffee black.

Otherwise the only things I ask a meet to bring is a clean body and good attitude

Was leavin for last min meet n was asked to bring wine.kinda put me off.funny thing was i was goin to pick up bottle on way anyway.said I cudnt make it.girllived Iin city centre so shops not bein near wasnt a problem

Have heard a similar story about the male reminding the single guy to bring a 'little pressie' for the wife to their MMF and he doesn't mean a little willy!

Probably the same couple but I've no doubt that there's several couples on this site who do this.

So me car tax is due for renewal in short as too is few other bills ... Lol look I do an would hope people so not fall for this an there still ain't this many naive people going about an if u are gullible or naive delete your account now cause they will seek you out this site is infested with them my only criticism of site ever but if prevents someone been taken for ride ... i have received gifts when on meets too and its suck a lovely gesture. i have gotten chocolates wine flowers that type of thing...its really lovely but i would NEVER ask for them

I'm guilty of asking a guy to bring us lunch!!! I knew him and we chatted online and I forgot time as I was supposed to get some groceries. He then asked if he could come over .... I said only if you bring me some food because I'm starving, fridge is empty and you stopped me from going to the shops! .... So he came over with a lovely sandwich haha
