AC/DC are retiring following guitarist malcom young having a stroke. It wasn't a bad one but he just can't play like he used to.

Everyone knows Angus but malcom was the backbone.

I never got to see em live.....

A great live band and still great when I saw them 5 years ago or so.

Best for them to bow out now if one of them not up for going on and apparently they have a pact that they'd break up if one of them wasn't up for continuing.

A fine back catalog. I hope they have great retirements.

We saw them a few years ago in the O2 when they were on their black ice tour. Mr S obsessed with them, even though they would not be my scene they were brilliant it was some show they put on even had a train lol

Now source saying on blabbermouth.net that theres nothing to the rumour- started as an email to a radio station and they ran with it.

yea me neither i hoped we would have got them at slane every year this past 4 yrs THAT WOULD BE 1 TO REMEMBER !

According to their Facebook page, Malcolm is taking a break to recover but the band will continue. One of the best bands there is - hope this isn't the end.....and of course that he makes a full recovery
