Ok.. once again single guys have been let down by the usual...

Of 5 guys invited to a recent party we held.. 2 turned up !!

That's 3 places that could have actually been given to guys who are bursting to get along to one of these parties..

No phone call, no message, no text.. just no appearance..

Its not like there wasn't a reward for attending ... only 9 girls to play with the whole night... sure, not worth the effort eh lads ?

Just wondering.. is this just a thing swingers just think they can 'just do' and its ok ?

Is it nerves and fear of attending and having to perform in a crowd ?

Of the amount of effort arranging these things its just not right and it doesn't show respect..

Anyhow.. if putting your name down for an event on here.. please turn up folks.. or let the organisers know it.. its only right and decent surely ?

Can say party did go amazingly well apart from non attenders..

This isn't just a once off, that tends to always be the case that guys get stage fright.

I have found that you need to invite double the number you want to attend and also that teamer is great at minimising the numbers of non attenders

With nerves and fear of performing I think you have hit the nail on the head. There are also the ones who are fantasists and like the idea but no intention of following through. It's not just parties they don't attend, it's also one to one meets. I just block and move on its really all you can do

I think alot of single men love the idea of swinging. Unfortunately try to put it into reality and they bottle it. However not contacting you is just rude and bad manners. Unless they were in a fatal accident there is no excuse.

Thats suprising...not the first time though ive heard people saying that blokes just dont show up...id of thought they would be delighted!! Maybe nerves...but people should have the balls to let you know in advance!!

What pisses me off us genuine guys are normally tarred with the same brush as the time wasters ahhhhhhhh

Personally I think time wasters no matter what sex they are should be named and shamed on the forums

Just to add, I have been invited to a meet and iam not gonna lie...Iam TERRIFIED haha I honestly dont know if i will go but if i decide iam not going i will mail the host and let them know!! Iam hoping i will make a friend with someone before its on so i can at least attend with somebody i feel i know rather then walking in on me lonesum not knowing anybody and risking bumping into locals i know ha let alone i havent drank in god knows how long ha

Cheers but i was thinking the opposite, Meet seemed like a good way to get to know a few people,maybe get verified and get things up and running so to speak, Also seems like a good craic just a bit daunting not knowing anybody and with it been local iam a bit iffy incase i bump into someone that knows me ha

man up ffs if u haven't drank in a while why would u need it to meet bring what ever u are drinking water even its a party ull have a laugh enjoy the company if u don't want to play don't no ones going to force u they may tempt as for other locals might be the best thing ever get a few around u to chat with one party leads to another its about fun enjoy it

SO with you on this guys. Run a few meets and the single guys are the worst for no shows and no explanation or apology.

For me its rude and ignorant with no excuse. Singles guys aren't the only ones afraid or nervous so i see it as no excuse. Main reason they don't turn up is that the missus will find out

Whilst it's against the rules to name and shame, don't think there is any rule that says you can't tip off other hosts via email or phone

They would soon be blackballed and the spaces they would usually reserve could then be offered to someone else
