"Where to start. Depends what sort of book you like I love the 'Anita Blake' series by Laurell K Hamilton, enjoyed 'The Black Magician' trilogy by Trudi Canavan and 'The Weather Warden' series by Rachel Caine 'To Kill A Mockingbird' by Harper Lee is just classic, and 'The Dice Man' by Luke Rheinhart is up there in my top 5. Plenty more after I have a think about it" To kill a mockingbird. My favorite book. And film excellent too.

"All of the above, plus Robin Hobb writes good meaty fantasy. If you prefer something lighter Raymond Feist is also an excellent fantasy read. JR Wards black dagger hood series or true blood if you prefer vampires. Eric flint is good if you like alternative history. Phillipa Gregory if you like books based on history. JD Robb or Martina Cole is good for crime fiction. I have eclectic reading tastes " . Ahhh martina Coles hard girls is a great read also

( I think I read too much.. )" I have Donal Ryans latest book somewhere in the wardrobe, got it as a gift for Christmas, couldn't tell you the name of it, must dig it out now and have a look. Have to say I read more about history than anything else and especially history on the Irish Civil War, I just find it so fascinating and sad at times the two different out looks and the many different reasons for picking a side.

If writes fiction but i suppose you could say that these things were occurring years ago in rural Ireland, if wrote a book on recession as well, seemingly he has a few projects near to publishing, a book of short stories is on the way which i would think would be a great easy read.
