We are looking to book a cpl of nights away nxt week...found 2 good deals but wondered which would be better Kilkenny or Portlaoise...any advice?

Stayed in KK twice a week for 18 months !

[ not at my expence , lol ]

Try Kilford Arms or Langtons

Bit Tricky on weekends due to Hens / Stags

Fabulous City [ Town ]

But Ab Fab x

if you want to do your grocery shopping portlaoise is great

if you want to feel invigorated by culture, music, great pubs, the influx of tourists then kilkenny all the way
