I am not currently a site supporter. I have toyed with the idea but it currently doesn't give me any benefits that I can't live without.

I don't agree with this.

I think there should be more restrictions placed on those who choose not to be site supporters. Not being able to post in forums or in chat, but being able to read them. Limit the amount of messages you can send to 10, but make replying to mails unlimited (so if someone mails you, you can chat to them) etc. Just a couple of things off the top of my head.

I'd happily pay my fiver if it gave me tangible benefits.

no way should you be forced to pay money to a site that's free to join just to use it's amienities

I pay when I can

Not because I use chat or cams

Not because I want to upload loads of pictures

I pay to support the site so it is free to everyone

There are times when I don't have a spare fiver so don't pay. I love that I can still use the site as fully as I want at those times

If the site made it easier to become a supporter to those outside the UK, a lot more would do so I believe.

& yes, a subscription would be the most basic filter but would start stopping the cheapo trolls.

the fee is not huge so affordable (compared to many other sites which charge a fortune), but it would maybe make you think twice if this is the right thing or not for you.

But then on the other side, I would have never joined if there had been a fee. And what a huge loss this would have been for some

Imagine the ones who already have a huge sense of entitlement - they pay and then they get an even worse attitude because they paid!!

We wouldn't dream of paying up, the site just isn't run well enough. It's bloody fantastic for free though and we do buy stuff from Lovehoney and click through from here so the site gets the advertising revenue, we think that's a fair swap. Also, if you put hot pictures up, that attracts more wankers which equates to more advertising revenue for the site too, so that's a form of payment

The other site I use charges astronomical amounts. On there you can't do anything without paying

I'm lucky as I have free lifetime full subscription so I can use the site fully

I hear as many complaints if time wasters on there as I do here

I'm not suggesting that everyone *has* to pay. Absolutely you should still be able to use the site for free, but the benefits of being a site supporter should outweigh the benefits of not, which is not the case at present.

Presumably the money raised by supporters goes towards the upkeep of the site. More supporters = a better site imo.

£5 for 60 days is peanuts really.

Well yes it would be nice if you had more options as a paid member but I think it's good you can equally enjoy the site without. I did pay and not really sure what way that benefits me but it's nice to have the option not to

which is my point. If everyone stopped being supporters there would be no site. Make the benefits of being a supporter more attractive..

Yes I am a sure supporter and I love it, I see who has been looking at me and I can see what conversations I have had with people, I can also leave notes on profiles to remind me about that person. I use all of these regularly

No, I wouldn't. And I don't, because I can live without seeing who's looked at my profile, or uploading more pictures etc.

And that is *my* point. Fab *should* be making it more desirable to become a site supporter. Surely the people that run the site *want* people to be supporters, so they can continue to run their business profitably. Why not do more to encourage us to spend the price of two cups of coffee (one if you live in London), to become a site supporter?
