We attended a large meet and greet recently with a girlfriend of ours and found the atmosphere to be friendly and relaxed .. Later in the evening my wife was approached by who can only be described as an older gentleman while I sat less than a foot away ... He proceeded to ask if my wife was interested in having some fun ... She very politely said no thanks .. He persisted and continually asked her to check out his profile on fab and tried to give my wife his username ... This continued for a couple of minutes before I eventually leaned across and said that neither of us are interested and can he just leave it alone ... His answer was "we are all friends here " ! No we are not all friends here ! We treat everyone with respect and probably more so at a meet and greet no means no ! Unfortunately I had to get quite aggressive before this guy actually left us alone .. Other than staring at us for the rest of the night ! We are attending another meet and greet soon and we are hoping this isn't something we need to endure again as it more or less ruined the whole experience for us ...

Sadly but rarely there's one that will chance his arm and end up acting the idiot. Don't let one bad experience ruin your fun. Hope ye have a great night xx

And unfortunately as you got' aggressive' and people watched/stared they made their own judgment on you even though you were protecting/defending your partner

That's not on you should have told the organisers straight away i am sure the appropriate ejection would have being in forced and this guy banned from future events by this organiser

NO means No it doesn't matter where u are in the pub or a club full of scantly clad swingers even a brothel it still means NO

Dublin/Carlow

That's a terrible thing to happen to ye. I'd react the exact same way if someone was hassling my lady. There's always a few bad apples who try to spoil it for the rest of us.

Most single guys are respectful though. Dont let it put ye off going to more m&g's though. There's more friends to be made.

Letchs, you get them in pubs and clubs most weekends, you'd hope to avoid them at an m&g

OMG, that is the first time I heard about it ...I am so sorry , but some do not or do not want to understand the meaning of the word NO ...

I know ye for a few years now, and I never found ye to be rude or aggressive in any way , and for those that condemn ye, I will tell them to take a hike, well done the way ye handle the situation !
