Negativity in profiles

I just opened another profile which said something like "this site is full of messers and they ruin it for everyone else" ... or "I've left the site before because there are too many timewasters on here" "I hate cock pics" "Fuck off haters"

When I read this, it instantly puts me off. By making such statements they may think they come across as genuine but actually, in my mind, they portray themselves as a negative person I wouldn't want to meet.

I can understand that we're all sometimes frustrated and I sometimes too would express this in a status update. But to have this fixed in your profile, not my kind of people.

Just saying... each to their own of course.

What do you think when you read such comments in profiles? Or have you put them up yourself and why?

Oh i agree. I totally accept that people have bad experiences but a series of sentences that begin "No" is a complete turn off.

And it won't deter the sados out to abuse either. All it does is give the decent folk a poor view of you and they move on.

I hate negativity full stop!! (.)

It turns me off folk right away in every aspect of life.
