Females taking selfies all day with no make up to raise awareness for cancer! That poor girl who died in the uk on Saturday was only 19 and was refused a smear test! when they eventually found she had cancer, it spread to far and she died! Utter disgrace! your health should never be scoffed at!

Never have I spoke on this forum before and never planned to until I seen this topic (thou I do read them hehe ks has final dragged me into a debate haha joke ks)

My sister died from cancer when I was 13 she was 21 and the refused a smear test is annoying cause it's actually true a lot,my sister didn't need a smear test what she needed was a doctor doing his job instead of the doctor asking her was she victim of household abuse and telling her to ring the police cause of her symptoms, she went to another doctor cause she knew she was not a victim of household abuse and the female doc knew what it was and it was leukemia so as a maybe warning to all members on here if u don't feel right with what a doc had said get a second option it costs nothing and will put u at ease

Sorry for sounding so depressed but back to the refused smear test it's a disgrace that that happened and that doc should be struck off

Unfortunately it is the government that set the age limits for the smear tests to save money. I personally think they should be available to everyone no matter the age.

I really do understand my mum died at 57 of leukaemia it is terrible to see

Think it's a great idea. Anything to make people aware is always a good idea.

Went through a cancer scare there myself over the last few months and only got the all clear a couple of weeks ago.

Fair play to those doing it!

Some extremely deep shares from people , it really does affect so many.

I'm loving the no makeup selfie initiative and my newsfeed is busy .. However I think the idea is that when your nominated you do it and donate to ye cancer charity ..€4 I think. I have only seen two women on my page so far share that part .. Surely that's the point ! Raise awareness and money !!

This thread made for a hard read, so sorry to all for their losses and I admire the bravery of the survivors stories

A reminder that we all have lives and problems outside of this madhouse xxx

Just an idea !

We could do by private mail nominate a male and a female .. Or couple

It would have to be between verified members ..

I'd have no problem sending a pic of my bare face to a member and the guys something like the sock on cock picture It would be a bit like secret shagger I guess !!??

It might raise a few more quid
