Tell me I'm wrong! I seem to recall the American military bombing a wedding party in November, killing the bride and groom, along with both of their families. Back in 2001 the US navy bombed a wedding party in Yemen killing 300 + innocent people. In the last few years there have been literally dozens of mass slaughter bombings of innocent Iraqis, Afghans, Yemenis, Pakistanis, none of which generated a whole lot of attention here.

Very interesting thread if you ask me. What they got isnt good enough it should be hung. Politics if you have any is wasted as all politicians are in it to make money. The poor soilder was brutely murdered and thats a fact. RIP. REspect to all service men and women who put on the uniform of the country. Its a tough job

As someone who served in Afghanistan, I'd ask for a little bit of decorum and respect as someone died in a hanius act back home. Each person who served over there no matter the nationality has done so for what they deem the right reasons. Forums or posts about sentences and the like I find disrespectful to the families involved. Peaceful silence is all these people seek as nothing can change what has happened before.

I just ask that people remember this before making posts about things they have little or no knowledge of

I agree it was a brutal act and I condem it. But it didn't happen on my streets. And if British soldiers were not in the Afghanistan and Iraq these guys would probably be alive today. If you enlist you may soldier.

It's not relative , a soldier on a battlefield or on active service in uniform and armed may face , and indeed may expect to die.......a young unarmed lad walking to a shop in civvy street doesn't !!!!

Once in uniform and a war is on going your are a legitimate target.the battle field may be a long way away but still the two countries each group represented where at war do and attack on either soil is expected. I do know these are lunatics and they deserve what they get but if its had of been a subversive guerrilla. Attack would the perpetrators. Been treated ad prisoners of war?
