Having read the piss take Groupfuck thread I have to say I don't like the horrible negative vibe I got from it. Someone mentioned about a 'pack' mentality in relation to other threads but yet that's exactly what happened on this thread. It became very sneering, jeering and poking fun at 2 of the nicest guys here on Fab!!

I love joining in the craic and banter with someone but that thread turned into having fun at the expense of the guys. I met Beav recently and I can say he is a genuinely, sweet, kindhearted, thoughtful guy. I haven't met DTG but I have chatted and interacted with him on the forums over a number of months and he too is very genuine, loves the banter and has a very PMA. Fab needs more guys like these two. Ok so the 'grouphug' thing became a bit OTT but it was harmless with absolutely no malicious intent behind it - in fact the intent was the complete opposite. Isn't it strange how human beings are uncomfortable with such behaviour!!

So I just want to say thanks to the 2 guys for trying to bring more positivity and love to the forums....keep the faith and

guys.

And finally .....I agree 100% with the very last comment by CJ on that thread....well said CJ

Wow, well I must say I didn't really think so much offence would be taken by what was an attempt at humour on my part. Lesson learnt that what I find funny obviously has no place on this forum, so for the reaction people have given to it, all I'll say here is apologies to all who found it distasteful, I don't follow every thread so it was a joke based on what I saw as something that was just overkill, I didn't think anyone would be that annoyed about it, or that I would be called a bully and a f***ing b****h over it. So yeah, I'll definitely be staying out of here from now on, have fun y'all!!

Cheeky I agree with most of what you said apart from the bit about the malicious intent behind the group hug thing. On a previous thread there was a very nasty turn towards a few that said they did not want to join the brigade, so if it's wrong to take the piss out of it, surely it should also be wrong to belittle people that don't subscribe to it like wad done on that thread. Just saying

Totally agree with you here.Two guys that cheeky mention are great fun and are well able to give banter So im sure they can take it also. Starting a thread like this in their defence sounds motherly.

The forums are they forums. No matter what people post on them they always get judged......... Be it ur profile ur pics ur not verified whatever ur judged.

But no it's not nice. My advice take other peoples comments with a pinch of salt but sometimes you have to be thick skinned on here let it fly over ur head Pick ur self up lads, dust off the clothes and post more comments like the group hug post. Over 170 posts and 99% of in good sense of humour and for me that's what's it's all about.

Have to say I really enjoy them - the crack and the banter. I find the posts more entertaining than the chat room.

no one should be afraid to voice their opinion even if it seems to go against the grain but we must respect their opinion its a different thing if that opinion is teased out by others to fully understand the person fully however if an opinion is being rammed down someone's gullet then we as a community should be able to say wait a min that's not on its the last bit that has let us all down from time to time some times this might be a mail to another poster to say cool it its getting out of hand or maybe this is better to agree to disagree
