So we're heading to Cork for the weekend soon and I know a lot of you just painted the town red last weekend. Its been way too long since we were there and we were looking to see if we could recommendations for bars in Cork to city to go to. Somewhere chilled out, maybe some live music and especially somewhere if we were to meet up with some people you can have a conversation.

Thanks in advance,

G&S

Depends on what vibe ye're looking for. There some great places like the crane and mutton lane but all down the atmosphere, costigans and cantys are also good bars

For a drink in the afternoon try The Roundy, or the Mutton Lane, for food and a chat either The Bodega or Arthur Maynes, for music the Bodhrán, or Coughlans is very good actually. The Crane Lane is good weekdays but tends to be rammed weekends as it is late, BDSM and The Vickerstown serve late on weekends too so maybe pop over there. If you are a stout drinker have a Beamish obviously, and try MiDaza too

I need to go there more at night, but they do a big bowl of soup and toasted sambo for a fiver for lunch, which I am pretty partial to

So we're hitting Cork City on Fri and Sat night and no have some ideas of bars to hit any ladies or couples that fancy a drink or 3, a good laugh and who knows what else drop us a line.
