Hey fabbers how are ye all?

Not sure if this was brought up before but here goes anyway

Our profile name has been mentioned on two recent threads (in a good way)

and it was only by chance that we seen it.. I know on social media when your name is said u get a notification

Wonder would the same work here?

Or would it cause problems

It's a good idea but on twitter/Facebook you only really interact with friends and you tag them.

Here's, it's more of a forum and alot of folk don't agree on forums so having access to post anyone in stuff could get taking advantage of.

I don't understand that answer but I chat to strangers on Twitter all the time so why would it make any difference???

I think it's a good idea but this is a free site, tweaks like that would probably require some money being spent.

it could be handy but then some may just overdo it and tag you in every second post. There may be just too many notifications to keep up with.

Ya we were thinking that but then if it was one notification per thread it would be ok
