multicultural society

Iv not been on this site that long but i have noticed that there are zero black women.....iv been on other irish dating/social network sites and there are lots of races and nationalities

Why is swinging different?

Or have i just not come across them?

I just think in todays multicultural society its a bit strange......

i actually agree! I search females any time I'm here and I have yet to see different races! I have seen one black girl as part of a couple

I'm with you on this.

Its reasonable to say that Ireland is multi cultural but I think its also reasonable to say that the percentage of the population that is non indigenous is smaller than say the UK.

Moreover, I think its also reasonable to say the blacks and asians in Ireland are relatively new to the country and perhaps for that reason alone swinging is not common.

Speaking as a man from the UK and indian roots I certainly have not seen any other indian men or couples on this or other Irish based site.

Maybe they do prefer their own...but given swinging is partly about enjoying the company of others you would have thought you would see them on a site like fab looking for their own and occasionally dipping their toes into new waters

I have been with single black women before but you could be right the majority may not like swinging or caucasian men......

Not saying thats the case but seen as there is no black women here we will neve know

of course it would help if site admin introduced a filter on the profiles to look for black or asians only.

Morning ..Ok i'm original from germany and i like this site. And you never know what you get. And the accent are all different. Some friends say to me i have now an mayo accent

I believe in the concept the idea of a multicultural society in Ireland but can we take a more practical approach to this!!! Even including the North Ireland is approx 80% caucasian Catholic, approx 15% caucasian Protestant, 3% Irish Travelling Community leaving between 1-2% from other racial and ethnic groups.

I would say that the cultural and racial backgrounds of people in FAB reflect these stats and nothing more complicated than that simple fact.

I will say that Irish people are the best people in the world to welcome others to their country and make them welcome..
