I seem to be getting non stop messages about describing myself as ample! What exactly is your opinion of ample? To me it's having more than enough which is what I have!

I would say you are curvy not ample ... u have a great body and by no way do u have more than enough ... well thats my opinion but its entirely up to you what u would describe yourself ... I suppose I could class myself as slim also ...

I would say you are curvy not ample ... u have a great body and by no way do u have more than enough ... well thats my opinion but its entirely up to you what u would describe yourself ... I suppose I could class myself as slim also ..."

Curvy and ample are closely related, I would say a person who isn't athletic or average is ample or curvy.

It's also a Nice way to describe a guys package or a girls boobs.... Ample

Not a nice way to describe....average!

So I guess ample is better,

I wld consider myself ample (Mrs) bigger than Ur average woman, in no way athletic, but others may have a different view.

Not sure.... I'm thinking that size 12 is probably a normal women's size which is considered healthy depending on height.

I think curvy is probably around size 12-18. Ample 18-22, Large is bigger

I'm not sure how people use fabulous to be honest.

Ah sure, just go with what you feel like! This subject always divides opinions and causes offense to some.... I wish fab would just put up a definiton of it so we can get over it haha

Like all these things....its an opinion...for me I love a curvy voluptuous lady...thats what i'd consider ample....a decent handful so to speak....lol

Some ppl like a slim lady and consider ample or large to be well... huge....

If ur happy in ur own skin thats all that matters... after that block and delete

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so everyone's version of ample will change. Ample in my eyes is what you are happily with you have enough of everything. We live in a society were size matters and there is a 0 dress size. That is not natural. If you are happy with what you have then who cares what others think. Be proud and confident and you can be what you want to be HAPPY

Magazines are what the industry want us to be but it is unrealistic and damaging to everyone's health.

I am a 16-18 and class myself as curvy my mum was a 10-12 and looked ill all the time, the only time she looked healthy was when she went up to a size 14. Yes different body types can be curvy but mainly depends on the busy size. I do understand your opinion, but the measurement you have given put a huge chunk in the population in the obese category not normal. Having been to the doctors a few weeks ago I was in between the normal/ overweight section

I find most women beautiful regardless of size or shape but telling a slim woman eat some bread is rude as telling a larger woman go on a diet.if you dont find a certain size of woman (be it smaller or larger )attractive thats your own preference but their eating habits are frankly not for you to comment on.

If you go into a store you are more likely to find sizes 14-18 sold out than smaller sizes or larger sizes.

im a size 10 to 12,im 5 ft 9 and im healthy!i used to be over weight and under weight but i reckon im the rite size and weight for my height now,i guess as long as yur healthy and have no illnesses and are happy in yur own skin thts all tht matters

i always thought ample refered to men.......seems i was wrong....not sure the body can be put in to a few types.....iam size 12-14 on top but 8-10 on the bottom......so am i curvy on top and slim on the bottom?...iam me thats it ....chest but no arse to speak of...we are all unique so cant be put in to boxes

(of a person's figure) full or broad.

"she stood with her hands on her ample hips"

But every persons view of 'full or broad' is different. I would not categorise 'ample' by trying to put a clothing size on it though.

Also, no offense intended but those clothing/shape sizes from the fashion magazines are inaccurate. I am a size 10 and I would not class myself as slim or athletic. My boobs are 34D and I have a round booty and I think that's because I'm only 5' 3". If I were taller & size 10 I may not have the same ass or boob shape.

An average height women in my opinion would be a dress size

Slim 8-10

Athletic 10-12

Average 12-14

Curvy 14-16

Ample 16 -18

Of course everyone is different and can be a different shape and size top from bottom so this does not account for this lol

Ah I really don't see why labels need to be put on it, I think beauty is beauty whether its inside or out or both.

I think Curvy cat is gorgeous and I certainly wouldn't describe her as ample I use the word perfection instead

That'd be my take on it anyway

I find most women beautiful regardless of size or shape but telling a slim woman eat some bread is rude as telling a larger woman go on a diet.if you dont find a certain size of woman (be it smaller or larger )attractive thats your own preference but their eating habits are frankly not for you to comment on."

a woman physically attractive in my eyes gets me in to bed! All she needs with it is not to be a cure and utter cow and good self hygiene! That's it!
