As you all know I'm new on Fab. Just wondering what experienced fabbers think on how to judge someone's profile. Ok the question is: what tells more about a person? 1) someone's pictures. 2) what they write about themselves or not write.... 3) their verifications. 4) their opening line in a chat. 5) something else.

it's all of it and obviously if what you see and read is in your taste.

There are some very legit guys on here with shitty profiles (sorry). So at first sight they look either fake or not serious. But it's the opposite.

Then you find the profiles who look all great, witty text, some good pictures. But they've been here for one year and not even verified. This obviously makes you question if they're just all funny talk.

Just go with your gut. If something sparks your interest, write back. You will soon find out if they're for you or not.

Before arranging to meet I suggest at least a phone call and even better a conversation on cam.

It all adds up .

I find how they answer and ask questions the best way though to tell what they are like ,

ah the way they express their opinion in the forums says a lot about them, well this works for me, have to connect my mind for the attraction to really start

IMO only way to really be able to get to know a person is to engage in endless email tennis messaging, see them totally naked in their pictures(so u know they aren't related to shrek) and finally look em up on Facebook and message all their friends and family asking questions about em.

In other words on here u never really know anyone properly as u only get to know people in the way that they want u to know em. But then are we here to really get to know people? We want to reassure ourselves as to their identity yeah but are we going to invite em to Christmas dinner? Nope so I guess once we feel reassured as to who we are dealing with it doesn't really matter how we get to that point.

I like your Doei!!! Yes I actually like to hear a voice over the phone as that tells me a lot as well. Don't do cam but it's a good option I suppose. Thanks! Doei!

Pictures show they are serious about it. Maybe 1 or 2 sexy ones and the rest a bit more modest. I can tell from yours that you really like bananas and playing the guitar.

One line about themselves isn't enough and show they dont want to make an effort and I find if you try to chat to people like that you'll get one word answer so I just skip them by.

Verfications tell a lot. The more someone has doesn't show they are easy, just shows they like having fun and are well like otherwise people wouldnt leave verifications. I can understand everyone has to get that first one under their belt but I steer clear of people who dont have one after 6 months or verified pictures either.

1. The content and spelling of the text. very little text or text speak is a red flag...if its good then onto..

2. pictures...if there are none... red flag, i do wish more profiles had full body shots, gives us a better idea.

3. veris

4. stats

if each one of those catch our eye we'll message.

We dont judge people on their profiles at all. Sometimes a badly written profile is not that persons fault. People may find it hard to express themselves in the written form.

We prefer to meet people and get to know them in person. We met a wonderful couple who had a one line profile with no pics. They turned out to be a beautiful couple who we have met on a number of occasions.

It can be easy to sit in front of a computer and draft a nice profile but meeting someone in person is really the only way to judge
