Think its the fact that the guys are on a swinging site and its going to their heads. They think everything is an orgy lol but with m&g's there mainly a social gathering.

thats why so many single guys turn up at meet and greets. they think its a cock fest.we would be very reluctant to go to another as it can be very intimidating.we went to one in cork and there was one single female and one other couple and 20 single guys. NOT PLEASANT

As was said above _ippcoupe2 I've had the same experiences before but also have been to well organised m&g's. By contacting people for me it makes a world of a difference. As turning up then the ice has already been broken with some people

Its' quiet easy for single lads who have been to meets & greets to comment etc but surely we can understand what its like for single guys (or single women and couples) just entering the world of swinging for the first time.

The only experience they have is what they read in the media or see in porn films. The expectation is that m&g's are a precursor to an evening of wanton abandon

Once they've been to one they quickly get with the programme

Its very very easy for them to think that, sure I was the same myself and it can be a steep learning curve in ways

It's all down to the guys expectations and their respect towards females / couples, regardless of whether it's a M&G, or a Party. Bottom line, at both, no means no......simple as that, there should never be an issue at either.

My first m&g was in Cork that was about 2 years ago.. Great night..as a newbie that time.. I just wanted to get to know a few people... It was great to meet people you chat with online and actually chat to them in person..

Meeting at meet and greets gives you the chance to show your personality.. And giving a person or couple a chance to enjoy your or both of your company without the expectation of each other to take it further.

I think I remember hearing a story about that happening at a m&g held by that other well known Irish swingers site

I guess it would make sense when people put up a M&G they explain what it is about so people have a a clear idea about what they can expect

id say go to these M&G's and treat them as a normal night out and just to get known and trusted by other fab members. if you do get a little kiss for your self look at it as an added bonous
