I would say its entirely about the person and not the weight. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and your curvy not overweight.

I believe the distinction is when can carry their weight well and show all their curves in a very feminine way.

I'm guessing that most of the ones who say any of you are fat or whatever have been rejected and lash out. But here's the thing they showed enough interest to look at your profiles so regardless of what they say they were interested. So just petty small minded ppl.

If you feel sexy then that's all that matters and I'd say give me a woman with curves over a skinny girl anyday.

I think the older we get the more comfortable and confident we become in our own skin. It's better to have the age and experience to know what works for us, than to be a stick thin teenager without a clue (as i once was). I'm now a size 14-16 and don't feel any bigger than i thought i was back in the day....and these days i know what to do with what i have

I have not read all the messages from the others but I think the difference between Curvy and Fat is the mind of the person who puts a word onto it.

I spend hours in the gym and find myself curvy I am never pleased with myself but in same time I like a confident woman pleased within her own body and never put judge their own body myself. I like curves and size 16 is not Fat to me as long as you like yourself. Marilyn was of a certain size remember and she is still one of the sexiest woman figure.

I'm as size 24. Some like it, some don't. Some call it curvy, fat or BBW. I don't really care. I am who I am. I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea, like not every man is my type. I have days when I think I'm fabulous and some days a bit less. But I think every woman has does days. I'm not perfect but I'm pretty great most of the time!

I've been attacked about my weight very few times. But only after I rejected them. All they were looking for was a hole, excuse my language. So it was no loss at all.

I was called fried eggs in school and was very slim, now I have had two kids and class myself as a bbw and proud of it. Beauty starts with you and if you believe you are beautiful and are happy in your skin no one can that that away from you. Don't let anyone tell you, you are fat that is not their right. My Mrs thinks most men only like a slim figure type figure but give me a well proportioned size 12-16 and I'd be happy

Mrs describes herself as being a bit 'large' and she is a size 12. I couldn't DISAGREE with her more ! Sometime women especially can be very self critical ?? Yes / No ??

Not curvy....just plain fat! Do I care? Up to a point yes...in as much as I'd like to be healthier and plan to work on that in 2014 but for my own wellbeing not to conform to any stereotypical ideology. As I've said many times sexuality comes from within and regardless of size you either have it or you don't. Its about confidence and being true to yourself. I love my curvy bits but anyone not happy with the way I look can lump it and might get sat on. That'll teach them!!!

We can be very self-critical but I think also we can pretend to ourselves we don't care what people think when we really do. I've had my fair share of the rude and critical comments...in fact sometimes I think I've had a lot of other peoples share too and yes.... I can't deny, it hurts. We all have feelings and try as we may to deflect critisism it can be cruel. But I choose to focus on the compliments and the opinions of the people who matter to me rather than the random knuckledraggers who are not on my radar anyway. We all feel hurt a bit at times... I (male half of 22try) wish I was a Brad Pitt or a Russell Crowe lookalike.. Alas I not, so we just have to be who we are and sometimes have a thick skin...

Well I don't like to be offensive to anyone. Plus, a lot of it is based on my personal preference. A lot of people would think my girlfriend is too skinny.

However, for the sake of illustration, I think if the person has the shape of a person and is reasonably firm all round, then it can be called curvy. However if they look more like a blob or a general roundish shape, then it is not curvy. This, for me, is especially true if there are bit wobbling that shouldn't be.

While I'm at it, I might aswell say: I'm not in perfect shape by any means.
