What's everyones thoughts on profiles that have been created ages ago and never verified?...over a year in some cases...when I come across one I block it....K

We all have to start somewhere I know that, but if not verified after say 2 months then there's something wrong...granted it may be a genuine person or couple who get off on the chat and pics...but ffs get a grip!

We recently had a friend purge, deleted anyone older than 2/3 months with no verifications. We got wind that a few undesirables were floating about so decided to enforce this rule for ourselves.

I try to be fair and give them, he or her 6 months. Won't even waste my time and energy clicking the block bottom after 6 months, just good old method of ignoring them until they get verified.

Sadly, there are loads on them on this site with no good reason for not getting verified after a month or two of joining the site

I know we all had to start somewhere but that was the way it was then too...

I still have requests pending, and that's because they've never uttered a word to me!...

I have all my pics 'friends only' because that way I can control who sees me and who doesn't, and in my line of work that's important...

There are a lot of fake profiles on here, just lurking around, watching, waiting for an opportunity...

Sure, call me paranoid but at the end of the day it's my profile, my rules...

Ah but there will be those that will Moan that they can't get a meet to get verified. I personally have found they are the ones more likely to no show and are actually here just for pic collectors, but that's why the block button is handy for

They can only be verified by verified members but responses here are saying they get blocked if not verified and message verified members so it's catch 22. You people have the power to change that for them but instead you block them so they remain not verified until someone makes a difference. Even if it's over a webcam to see them.

I was referring to profiles that have done nothing after months....after that they deserve slagging and blocking..

By the same token, why can someone who has been on for a long time not go into chat and ask to be verified there? Or why can they not upload a photo to get photo verified? Why put all the pressure/blame at verified people's feet?

I met someone off a different site who was a member here too and I got verified that way because no member would give me the time of day to get to know me because of no verifications. You all need to calm down and remember how you all were at the beginning. There could be fantastic people just a verification away to meet you all but you all seem to be part of the mob mentality. I know not everyone is genuine but be a bit more friendly to potential people who may enter your lives and leave you with a nice memories.

There is a "female" on here virtually every weekend wanting to meet "now". The op posts "she" has 3 or 4 guys set up but wants more. Problem is the profile is up 8 months and is unverified.

And yet no doubt every weekend the profile owner gets loads of mails and enjoys wasting people's time asking what they want to do and then has to go because the pet budgie is looking off colour.

Certainly if you are on the site for several months and haven't been able to get verified it's time you took up storytelling as a profession.

Speaking as someone who only got verified recently it's not easy to be honest. I chatted to a few, was on cam to another but they have to be verified first so it's a catch 22. Though it's most likely a good idea to leave as is, had a guy asking me to verifiy him before I was and he'd do same.

So maybe leave as is and give people non-verified a chance to prove they are ok first

I know of two cpls on here who are well known on the scene and are Fab people. They have had lots of meets over the cpl years on here and other sites yet they haven't published one veri. Its choice whether or not to publish the veri. We've done it ourselves.

I met someone off a different site who was a member here too and I got verified that way because no member would give me the time of day to get to know me because of no verifications. You all need to calm down and remember how you all were at the beginning. There could be fantastic people just a verification away to meet you all but you all seem to be part of the . mob mentality. Thing is when I was looking, I didn't block unverified. This changed slightly as Tbh the ones who were unverified where the ones that mostly stood me up and I think this could be the reason why people don't meet unverified esp those that have Been on for over a year

I think the problem lies, like every other part of life, in some people spoiling it for genuine ones. There are genuine people (mostly males tbh) who cannot get a meet and therefore cannot get verified who are being tarred with the same brush as timewasters! I never verify anyone on cam and only verify if I have actually met them. So some guys, for whatever reason, cannot get verified as they maybe don't meet the womens/couples criteria, maybe they are not eye candy, or carry a few extra pounds and therefore cannot get a meet. Even in chat, I have noticed that some get ignored so I do sympathise with Genuine people who cannot get verified. I don't block many people as I find that most people are nice and accept that I won't meet them. Rant over

If anyone boast of meets but are not verified then they are stupid and not worth chatting to although they do amuse me briefly while I interrogate them as their answers are good.

But as I said, not everyone who is not verified is a time waster.

Worse still is someone who will met anyone at all to get verified as there are some on here that will meet anything with a pulse and guys that meet such ones will not be meeting me!

I actually don't know what all the fuss is about. If people concentrated on their own use of site and not worried so much about how others use it I'm pretty sure their experience would be better. See a profile that doesn't suit you , receive a message from someone that doesn't suit you the answer is the same , move on and block if you feel the need to.

Tbh that point did enter my head....briefly......but it is after all a swingers site and as such should be used by only active swingers, even occasional swingers.....let those other "profiles" go buy a dvd or a mag.

How do you know they are not active swingers , how do you know that they are not having sex every night of the week but prefer discretion over a veri. In the case of those that havnt been active in a while how do we know what's going on in their personal lives. Live and let live I say , do what you are doing block when you come across a profile you don't like and find one you do.

Getting a bit out of hand this. By all means do what you like on site. But one of the big advantages fab has is verifications. They are by no means the answer. They are a tool to use. Nothing more. But if you ignore them then that's your look out

I have been registered on the site 2 years before I even started to use the site. My profile was there and never used the site as I thought it was not working for me at the time.

Had difficulties when I came back but obviously I managed to get to chat to few and hope to keep getting to know many more.

I'm not sure it would. I'm also not sure that people without verifications can correctly be portrayed as fakers, as I'm sure a faker would quite easily manage to drum up some fake verifications!

when u see how easy it is to set up a profile i dnt think verifications can be taken too seriously as proof of reality unless they are multiple. I travelled to a hotel in dublin once to met a couple with 3 veris, who turned out to be fakes...so its not a given...but i would always advise single girls in paticular to meet couples (they may be a single male) and single males ina public place first and not a dark carpark ,hotel room, hos place!!!..stay safe ...and no im not sexist...but single girls can be very vulnerable.....

I joined the site in February and received several verts. After a time I felt the need to delete my account because of hassle I was having. I rejoined in a different name and a different attitude, I have only got two verts now instead of the 12 or so I had before and to be honest I feel a bit silly asking guys to vert me, I will vert them but don't expect the same in return. I am not photo verified because I think it is crap, it could be anyone holding up a sign, caming regularly is a good way to get verts but I do not feel the need for that. I know I am genuine and yes I get stood up and it hurts a bit but that is part of the swinging world. I do believe in giving guys with no verts a break and if they don't turn up I block them, but the ones who should know better and stand you up are the ones with verts are the ones who should be banned.

Being verified is not the be all and end all of the world and we all have to start somewhere.

Agree 100% with you, I had a meet arranged recently and this profile had verifications and I just had a feeling it was gonna be a no show earlier that day. I messaged and was replied "running late work wise" and I messaged later on saying if you can't meet let me know, show some respect. I had a hotel booked and was there and messaged again saying "I'm looking elsewhere now unless you arrive first. Hurry up". I got a reply saying "don't like your tone lets forget about it". I replied I held up my end of the meet and here in a hotel, wasted money paying for it. I was right about you not turning up. Within minutes I was blocked. So being verified doesn't mean genuine all the time. This person was a time waster despite having verifications on profile here.

So many waiting to be verified and messers like this already taking the piss verified already.

Give new people a chance and forget about those who mess about. There are good people on here, the site has great potential. New people everyday, get to know them. Be friendly.

all very intersting info for a novice to this but how much work does it take to get verfied? life is busy with other stuff, will not hire without experience but where is the experience going to come from, anyone out there with a big verification stamp,
