Banksters, that's all they are. Another money grabbing scheme by trying to abolish 1c & 2c coins. Everything will be rounded UP, you watch.

Agree to a certain extent.

But who actually uses 1 & 2cent coins?

End up in jars hoarded away.

Lot of other countries round to zero & 5 already.

I do!

I use them as I get them. Even if you put them in a jar, they're still worth something when you cash them in.

They did a trial in wexford and it seems to have worked...

And from the little I've read about it before it won't affect inflation etc

Seems a good idea to me

I agree. The trial in Wexford seems to have been a success, and some countries don't use them either.
