I think meet n greets are great for newbies ....chance to put faces to names without the pressure to play but play if you like the pressure...the choice is entirely yours

There is never any pressure at parties at all to be honest its far easier then 1 on 1 meets as your not stuck with the same person all ngt

parties can be a little nerve wracking for the first time but there is NEVER pressure to play and you can do things at ur own page.

meets and greets are great as well for the socialising.

No pressure to play either.

Parties are scary and really do open you eyes to other things, if your not easily shocked they would still shock you lol meet and greets are the way forward for newbies or just a good night out, have a bit of Craic and chat with people from here about all sorts and then if you click with people arrange to meet up on more personal terms and possibly play if that's what your wanting to do.

We still haven't plucked up the courage to go to a party either. I (Candy) am always shy when it comes to meeting new people & a small group of new faces kinda freaks me out.

God that sounds terrible!! Worst ever happened to me was advances were made, I said no thanks and that was the end of it, anyone who would push themselves on someone shouldnt be allowed at a party!

We've been to a few parties and while never being pressured to play, we were a bit shocked, at how much of a mix there is and in the way a party unfolds lol

But at the end of the day, if you treat it like a normal party and have no prior expectations of, who and how it will be then they are usually good fun. Even if you don't play which we have done at a few . Also they are a very good way to put faces to profiles which can be an eye opener at times lol..

We have been to many party,s and have never felt we have to play, we go to check out other people and if we play it's a bonus. We have also hosted party,s at our home and when sending mail we always make sure it is written that no one is under any pressure to play.

We have never been pressured but you do get offered but a polite no is always taken..

our first meet was a party and now its our first choice we have never been put under any pressure to play and we find it a lot less intimidating then a Cpl to Cpl meet, after all its just a party and if something happens then that's a bonus but you have still had a nice social night

I def prefer parties to standalone meets these days.

Hoping to make first irish party at end of this month . Have been to parties abroad , amazing times in rio . Looking forward to opening new doors at home.
