My grasp of the language isn't good enough, but names with Agha or Augha in them come from acadh which I seem to remember means plain, as in flat. Moy and such like come from maigh, which I think is also plain, such as Mayo, Maigh Eo, the plain of the yews? Ok, that's getting boring now. My apologies | |||
