...no, not the uniformed kind. In town for a birthday and looking for a cracking night out - is Copperface Jack's as bad as they say? Or as good as they say? (Depending on who you talk to!) I was there 13 yrs ago but at that age I was clueless and I cannot remember a thing about it anyway! There are 7 in our group - 3 girls and 4 guys, some partnered, some not, all 30-36. Jack's has been mentioned as final destination but would be good to get some local knowledge. Anywhere else that is a great craic and fun crowd where a lumber might just be on the cards (and where we won't feel like pensioners...)Many thanks in advance

You have to be in your early 20s to be able to enjoy Coppers. It's full of very d*unk and silly people. Unless you enjoy being groped by d*unk randomers, I don't recommend it.

All the clubs in that area (Harcourt St) are a bit like that.

For a bit more sophistication and better times I recommend the bars and clubs around George St

I (fem) am in my early thirties and love the place .. If you like the banter, plenty of drinking and dancing til you can't dance anymore you will like coppers .. And sure at the end of the night you want to bring someone home its as good a place as any .. It can get busy and messy but there are quieter bars within the place like the residents bar of the hotel part (great place to find yourself if you wanna keep going til 6am) .. But you see I'm a country gal and its where we like to go lol flannerys then onto coppers .. If ye want to experience an Irish night out that's the place to go .. Templebar is on the expensive with live music that is similar to any Irish themed bar anywhere and well tourists ..
