Feeling pretty deflated. A fab fuck buddy has left. After a year of damn good sex every now and then to nothing is shit.

It's not just the lack of sex, it's the fact that every meet was amazing with both of us out to please the other. It worked. It was perfect. It was different every meet, we knew what made the other hot and bothered....

I know I have little to be complaining about but I'm just sad and feeling really lost.

Yes and no. It was always a well managed thing. No constant contact. We did discuss lots over the year so there was always going to be a loss.

Honestly, it's the sex that I'm really going to miss. He hit the right spots for me and I for him. I have met a few people but the sex was never as good.

I know people like to pretend otherwise, but seeing someone for a year is a relationship regardless of whether or not it's admitted, humans have literally evolved to develop feelings and attachment bonds when we have sex. It may have started off as an agreed FB situation but that can be hard to compartmental.

Something changed along the way, atleast for you and the attachment was more than sex. (thats how it was for me in a similar situation but i wasnt ready for sonething serious and she decided to move on and I'm happy she did)

The way i see it now, you have 2 choices.

1) you can linger in the world of "what if"

2) you pick the harder option of plodding through and find someone to chat with (who is on the same wave length and move on)

Either way, time is great but very long way for any healing process.
