"I enjoyed it in general but thought it was a very differnt style to GOT and that it might not have great broad appeal" GOT was an absolute game changer for TV , and with current developments in social attitudes we'll never see a show like it, intricate dialogue, gore, political scheming, tits and dragons, we're never going to see a show like it again. I feel HOTD is a good show, it's a bit more polished than GOT with some questionable adaptations for sure. But I'm still enjoying it | |||

A lot of the cast have talked about Me too movement, one example was Emelia Clarke complaining that for her nudes scenes she would be completely naked to the point where Jason Momoa would have thrown a towel on her, the graffic sex scenes in GOT, especially when a lot depicts bad acts upon women. Ewan Mitchell (who plays Aemond) made it a point to do fully naked scenes to show solidarity with them. | |||
