Causeway Coastal trip

I'm heading to Belfast next week before heading on to see the Glens of Antrim, the dark hedges and onto giants causeway before heading for Derry.

My plan is 1 night in Belfast to do some sightseeing before heading off. Is 1 night in Belfast enough time.

Is there anything else really worth seeing between Belfast and the giants causeway. Also if I leave Belfast at 10.30 give or take would I do the rest in that day or should I stay somewhere for a night near the giants causeway too please.

You could spend a full day or more at the causeway. Ther3s the Bushmills distillery tour it's very interesting and there's dunluce castle near by and Carrick a rede rope bridge in the general area. It depends on what your interested in seeing and if your looking for a evening drink or dinner theres some very nice places

I go touring a lot.

My motto has become "Less (km's) is more"

There is always so much to see, discover and explore, no matter where we are on the island. Ireland is steeped in culture and ancient history and every little village has its own special story.

Now I just head off with no plans in place and I have learnt and seen so many things.

You will never get to discover fully the island of Ireland.

This is after a life of working globally.

We all should look around us a lot more.

Enjoy the journey.

If you do all 4 in 1 day you will be knackered the following day. The distillery will probably take a couple of hours and you could probably do Carrick a rede in an hour and dunluce would take 2 to 3 hours to walk around and the causeway is huge and while they do have a shuttle bus it's timings vary wildly so you probably would be better doing the causeway on a 2nd day. Hope this helps and if you have more questions feel free to pm. And there's no ulterior motives

You should be well able to do them over 2 days and you should only stay longer if you have the desire and reasons to do so. We hope you have a fantastic time
