Does negging actually work? I logged in today and saw a message from someone I've never interacted with. It said:

"Not interested, sorry. Far too skinny"

What exactly was the end goal here?

If I have googled the correct way, it would seem it does work as it's a term invented by "pick up artist's" ... however they should probably be described as "con men / con women"
