I bought an air conditioning unit for the bedroom. Cost a good bit of money but at least I can get some sleep at night

East / North, Cork

Our bedroom is stiflingly hot but we sorted by leaving the door and windows open and creating a through-draft from the front of the house to the back. If there is any breeze at all then it carries the hot air out.

somewhere

Ive the bedroom window open and the bedroom door creating a bit of an air flow

Problem then is the noise of magpies early in the morning waking me and foxes in the garden late at night causing the dogs to go mad and wake me up

Usually turn off my phone when I get home from work strip off and have a 20 min nap to feel refreshed again

Good to hear that👍if the good weather helps people feel better I hope it stays!I'm not built for the heat with fair skin and more crankiness being too warm but I'll sacrifice that knowing its doing good to people..I'm not against the heat either..

Loving the sun, heat is diabolical when working, living in the countryside has its perks, cooler at night

There's a lovely breeze at night but even with every window in the house open, I can't get a decent night's sleep.
