Okay, asking if this is rude or normal or safe practice fom my side.

Few times I've got chatting to a woman or couple, seem to get along and profile seems okay but hidden verification and something just telling me to be wary.

I just ask, can we do simple hello on cam/tele or similar before moving forward ?

I only do this when something seems off, never know if I'm coming across as the ass hole.

There are plenty of fake profiles out there with 4 or 5 veries, usually of men, women, and couples.

When they're hidden, raises a flag for me, always!

So no harm to ask for video call etc.

You have to navigate Fab whatever way works for you. If this gives you a level of confidence in the person you're chatting with then you're right to do it.

I wouldn't agree to it mind but I'm navigating Fab in my own way 😊

You can ask though you might get a no.

I've my verifications hidden as I like to keep private who I meet.

There's plenty of fake profiles on here. Theres also well verified profiles who I've found to be timewasters.

Always go with your guy OP if it doesn't feel right. Don't waste your time.

I have some of my veris hidden for several reasons which are no one else's buisness. Some people have also left so the veri disappears but the number doesnt.

You do fab whichever way suits you OP.If you feel you need to chat before on video then yes of course you can ask. I personally would refuse to do it as I absolutely despise video calls and don't do them even with friends and family. But that is me. And I despise people on here pushing for them but that just shows incompatibility in my eyes anyhow.

Ive asked a few dodgy female ones in the past for a photo of them holding a piece of paper with ""the general"" written on it. Only 1 ever did it. Fair play too her if shes ready this 👏 .

Lest Mr Rios above thinks we are really being dickheads we really don't do this.

I did ask for a shoe on the head photo once because it was flirty and funny and she did indeed take the photo and we did indeed meet.
