I’m starting to think a large percentage of people on here enjoy the attention, validation, and fantasy more than they enjoy actually meeting.

They’ll chat for weeks, flirt endlessly, exchange photos, talk about all the things they’re going to do… but when it comes time to set a date, they vanish.

Is that harsh, or is there some truth to it?

What’s your experience?

Find people that do meet .....there's plenty out there.

Not sure why that would be an unpopular opinion, it’s fact. There’s plenty of fantasists on here.

However, some people vanish because life happens and priorities are elsewhere or something that is a huge red flag for them came up in conversation so not everyone who vanishes is a fantasist.

Have had my fair share of time waster but not so much. However, have heard of people make plans for meet and never show up or tell the other party they cannot make it.

That’s can be right, life happens, priorities changes and maybe it a red flag thingy but it would be polite to tell the other party he/she won’t be meeting up.

Not necessarily if the other person has been extremely rude or inappropriate. People need to do their due diligence as well and check in that the meet is still happening a few hours before you’re due to meet.

Coming to a county near u

We have tried to arrange meets previously and wasted so much time getting to know people that seem perfect for us. Its usually men. We appreciate plans change in the real world but these were all issues that we could have been told well in advance of not the last minute. They seem to have a kink of changing the goalposts last minute or as we said on a previous post some even change the stadium last minute. Also the biggest timewasters are those guys who pretend to be a woman or those "couples" where you never hear from the female when you move off platform for easier communication.
