Some people won’t meet without attending socials first, while others prefer one on one chemistry. Which approach works best, and why?

Both work depending on those involved.

I prefer one to one socials for numerous reasons including actually being able to have a conversation but some feel more secure at large group socials.

I can honestly say in 10 years here that I've never once spoken to a woman who would only agree to meet me at a group social so it's not something I've ever worried about.

Social gatherings suits me. I don’t go out often so I make a night of it. Plus I’ve friends in the lifestyle that I only meet at socials. In saying that I’ve met some lovely people on one on one socials.

I won't meet anyone anymore, unless I've previously met them at an actual social event. Too many time wasters on here and have been let down by lots.

I ,mrs crazy , do enjoy the odd solo meet , but i wont meet anyone new unless its a coffee social first before any meet is arranged , i do this for many reasons, to make sure the is sexual chemistry and we can actually have a chat and connect , nothing worse than arranging a play meet with a complete stranger and neither of us are attracted to.one another ,

Socials are very important in my eyes before a play meet

Surely that’s one of the benefit of social, you get to meet like minded people.

Both, sometimes people some want to meet you in person to see if you have anything in common in person I guess.

That’s understandable Mrs Crazy, security and chemistry is none negotiable. What if you’ve chat for a while, have chemistry and seen their face?

Sorry to hear about your experience with time wasters, keep it that way unless you’re very sure about someone

Look at a group social as a way of having quick one on one socials with loads of people in one night. It's a timesaver. Having a one on one social with no one else there and the chemistry isn't there is a waste. Time is short and babysitting is expensive

I rarely do one on one fab meets these days. There are too many flakes and fakes to justify doing it. Meeting people through socials is generally easier, safer and usually more fun 🤷🏼‍♀️

Chatting online and chatting in person are completely different , you cant get the same connection online than in person , i always send face pics and ask for face pics before the coffee social so i know who to look out for

I much prefer someone who has been to an event , social or play .. I find they have a better understanding of how to engage in a respectful easy manner IMO . Means multiple ppl have sussed them out to be safe . And even then I would need a coffee meet before any play.

Just clarifying in case that’s what someone meant by “having a social “ under their belt .

If you're talking about a social rather than straight to a play meet I even have it written on my profile that a coffee social is non-negotiable.

I don't meet anyone without at least one social first and if they have an issue with that we were never compatible to start with.

So I take it from this the days of "Howya! Do you fancy a ride" have dissappeared then?

Shame to see the old ways vanishing really

We do both, but for smaller socials it's pointless travelling any distance as 50% chance of no shows, at big socials it's 100% chance of a volume of people at it, just more difficult to pin point or get any real lenght of time with anyone.

Have experienced both tbh & a single 1 on 1 meet CAN be fruitless or it CAN be worth everything..but at a social there are more options to chat & meet other people, just go with an open mind & remember not everyone is your type & you're not everyone's type & enjoy it.
