I have some random keloid scarring on my body, popped up from nothing, but I find it embarrassing when I remove my clothing. Anyone else suffer with this scarring or embarrassment ?

Nearly everyone has things about their body they would choose to change. Don't let it hold you back. The person you are with is probably worrying about something themselves.

not far from

Exactly as above 👆👆

I have a number of different types of scarring from old occupational injuries. The physical ones are easier to deal with.

Sometimes people can curious and will ask. You just need to be comfortable with yourself and not worry.

I would like to think if two people are naked and about to have fun for the first and possibly the last time then nothing is said at all.

Then again if you feel that you should say something because its going in that direction then a heads up shouldn't kill it really

By the way I've a few scars...got shot a few times while in the special force's.....actually say nothing

near you

I (silk)have a huge amount of scaring from surgeries I’ve had and was left with a lot of keloid. Very ugly and noticeable. I’ve had guys point it out in the bedroom and one in a packed jacuzzi and to be fair I was mortified. It totally knocked me. It’s always in the back of my mind now if I’m withsome and not easy shaking that at all. Personally I would never pass judgement on anyone especially something that is physically so insignificant. But people will be people. You just rock that body of yours and your war wounds x

I have huge scars, they tell a story of how lucky I am. I’m proud of them

Easy to say, but try not to let them stop you from meeting people here.

We all have parts of us we're not happy with. I have scars and moles - neither of which I can do anything about. I'm really self-conscious about my moles and they've held me back here for sure. But now I'm trying to be 'fu€k it' about them. If they bother other people that's on them, not me.

As most people have already commented, everyone has scars or other issues on their bodies.

We both have old and some relatively new war wounds as part of the reality of being adults of a certain age. We've no doubt there will be more to come.

Now we just embrace it as each one can tell a story and some of ours bring back memories of challenging times that we got through.

War wounds indeed

I do. Lots of them. I've had them for so long that I forget about them now. Most people don't mention them at all.

Scars, lumps, bumps, stretch marks, freckles, jiggly bits and more. We are definitely hardest on ourselves. Those that matter won't mind and those that mind don't matter

Me too except my jiggly bits have jiggly bits lol.

Doesn't seem to stop most people.

I have found Bio-oil very effective on reducing the appearance of injury or surgery site scars but unfortunately it may not be effective on keloid scarring.
