Anyone got any recommendations for a hotel in London that is easy to get to from any of the airports serviced by Dublin, and would be nice for a two out stay with an old flame I’d like to impress?

Loads of hotels, depends on budget. Central London is well served by the underground , buses and overground trains. But you pay a premium for city centre.
