Hi fabbers. Would asking someone to come to the beach or a forest to go dog walking be acceptable for a social meet? X

somewhere

Only if they have a dog ....

Having a coffee in a coffee shop on the walk would be your best bet

Gives someone a change to say thanks and leave ....if you just go for a walk someone like on a beach its awkward if ye dont get on and they want to leave.

Yes as long as you don’t pick somewhere really secluded. They need to feel safe.

The only problem with it for me is that I’m likely to pay more attention to your dog than to you 😂

I would but my dog is less sociable than me. And she's old so won't walk far...

Less of a walk, more standing around tbh

When people talk about bowling or activities for a social meet.. I can't think of anything worse. Sometimes staying just for the time it takes to drink the tea can be difficult enough, never mind having to actively partake something. Noooo!!

But dogs.. I'd meet for dogs

Somewhere

It's a good way to get to know people and to have a subject to talk about.

Dog walk is nice and relaxing once everyone is safe and it’s not secluded. For me if someone didn’t like my dogs then they are not for me.

As mentioned the biggest problem is if the other person really likes your dogs and ignores you

So I actually have a pet horse. 🐴

If I were to bring it along when meeting another person with their horse, would it help me to "get da ride" 🤔
