somewhere

Do you have your phone in your hand or beside you all day

Do you constantly check it

Does it stay on all night or do you turn it off

Could you go out for an hour and leave your phone behind or would you panic

Connemara

I'd often go away for the day and leave my phone at home.

If it's nearby, I check it a lot.

It's beside me all day because I use it for work and print invoices etc directly from it.

I don't turn it off at night in case family need to get in touch in an emergency as they have no other way to contact me.

I use it to track hiking routes as well but I've often gone shopping or or out for a meal and left it in the glove box.

I turn off most notifications while I'm working days. Last week I broke my screen and couldn't open my phone for a day. It drove me demented. Especially when the kids are still messaging me.

somewhere

I turn off my phone going to sleep and use a smart speaker as an alarm

Leave the phone in my bedroom if Im busy in the house

Its my only phone so work calls can start at 8.00am and stop by 6pm so its usually a call or two to Tox after that and WhatsApp messages from family

I have driven home or back to the office if I've left my phone behind...major panic without it

I can quite happily leave my phone unattended for days.

I work abroad so it’s hard to leave it behind when working as email, travel tickets hotel bookings are all on it, so when I get home, I detox from the phone for days and return to the bliss of 1989 Ireland.
