In 2026 how is there still not a Dublin swingers bar? There are multiple LGBTQ bars and they work….

I understand that there’s still the catholic Ireland guilt, we are the worst for it!

And we aren’t even suggesting a full play area type club, but even a bar that we can all agree is cool and if we go for a drink we might be sitting next to a couple who are also in the lifestyle. Doesn’t have to be officially designated! (If you are seen there you aren’t outing yourselves

)

Just somewhere in Dublin that we will know to go they next time we get out!

Even in very enlightened places you can very rarely just rock up to a swingers bar and pop in expecting to find swingers there. These things are normally prearranged and for vetted people in locations that are multi-purpose. There just aren't enough people here to keep a full time business going

Dv8 is a pub that runs all sorts of kink/ Gay / swinger events

Most Sundays its just a friendly pub where everybody knows your

( fab ) name

Dv8 is a bar open 7 days a week. Event nights and socials are held regularly. There is always their social Sunday, which is from 2pm and that's a great way to meet people and find out information on other events within the community.

There's three or four spots directly outside the door. Across the road, you can park on the cycle lane after 7pm. I've never had a problem getting a spot there for the CD nights.
