Fee to Join a Singles TG group

Recently came across a lady looking for people to join a singles TG group. Here was the process.

1. I wrote to them on here asking was there room.

2. She said yes. What’s your TG ID.

3. I shared it and she wrote to me on TG.

4. I was asked for a selfie.

5. I was asked to show my verifications.

6. I was asked to pay a fee and a linked was shared. The fee was for here to receive payment for checking verifications and moderator of the group.

7. I acknowledged the message but did not pay.

8. I was not offered a place in the group.

My question is, is this normal? Are people paying to join groups?

We're on a few groups not once have we been asked for a fee nor would we pay either tbh, thats taking advantage of the lifestyle imo. Screw that.

I’d be paying nothing but I have heard of a certain event holder that asks for membership payment and apparently a lot pay. But in fairness this is a big event organised and members get early access to tickets for events I think

Please report any user who attempts to gain materially, from access of Fab, as it's against site rules. It's possible to report a profile, even when blocked.

It's wise to ignore those who seek to take you off site, to other apps etc. This is sometimes done because they are aware of being in breach of Fab rules or the law and it's under scrutiny here.
