Who doesn't love a good scare. So as a family we have decided to watch a scary movie every day leading up to the 31st.

So, help a fabber out.

Love a good horror movie! It's been a while since I've seen any though.

I like ones with a sci-fi theme or some of the stuff from Asia (Korea, Japan, HK). Horror comedys are good too (bending the "scary movie" part a bit)

Sorry, it's too hard to pick a favourite, but I'd be happy to cuddle up on the sofa with any of the below;

Event Horizon

Alien/Aliens

R Point

The Grudge

Hellraiser

Cube

Halloween

The Exorcist

Silence of the Lambs

Shaun of the dead

Zombieland

28 Days Later

The Thing

The Shining

Dog Soldiers

The Lost Boys

I like a creepy movie that builds up suspense and fear. I don’t like slashers or lots of gore (though if gore is required, fair enough). I like folk horror especially. Watched one on prime last night called The Borderlands, which was a “found footage” movie (think Blair Witch Project etc) and started off almost like The Office or Peep Show but turned down the humour and turned up the creeps as it went on. Worth a watch.

Love scary movies. October is a month of all horror movies for me. My favourite is a tie between The Exorcist and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Weapons, The Monkey and especially Sinners are 3 recently released ones I really enjoyed.

If you're ho.e alone, or even with a partner only, The Strangers scared the hell out of me. Luckily I had a rottweiler for company or I might not have made it to the end.

When are Stranger Calls is a similar kind of scare and good.

Silence of the Lambs always worth a watch.

The Shining I'm not mad about (despite having the 4K version) but prefer the Doctor Sleep follow up.

Misery is excellent

Funny Games is a good one.

Alien on the big screen still gives me chills.

For family though, Poltergeist, Sleepy Hollow, Carry On Screaming and Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein are all a bit of a laugh for the season.

Enjoy

"Brotherhood of the wolf is a good werewolf movie"

That is the French movie right?

I don't recall that being a werewolf movie.

Wasn't that the one where a lion was dressed up as an unknown beast and attacked people?
