Moxy is right outside the NEC and trains dont run on a sun morning till after 10am so handy just to hop on the free monorail to the airport from there

On the Friday-its always the best day to go as it's relatively uncrowded. There are discount codes to be found online if you look. The ticket price is a whopping £40.

Trains from New St to the NEC start around 7am on Sundays, it's around a fiver

I’ve never had a problem with Hilton metropole one. There is a side entrance which can lead straight to lifts which don’t need key card
