I notice every year more and more parents and kids going on hols in September just after the school reopening having been off for the summer. Is it something you would do or do you go on hols during one of the 3 main months? Obviously holiday prices come down in September compared to June, July and August.

I always go in Apr/May and Sept/Oct! Depending on availability and prices

It’s easier for parents when the kids go back the prices change is huge

ye I saw a thing online lately a few cribbing that parents/kids are going in September when they’re back at school but when price drops can you blame them.

We're here at the minute and have always taken our kids on hols in September. School has always been supportive of it and there's never been an issue

The article I read wasn’t so much schools having a go , just a generalised viewpoint on parents/kids going on hols just when they’re gone back to school after 2/3 months off.

I go playing golf in Portugal in Mar/Apr every year Lanzarote Aug/Sep and sometimes a city break in between I try to keep away from kids places. Not because I don’t like kids I love them but brought up my own now it’s me time for whatever time I have left on this rock ❤️😎

Do you get fined for taking kids out of school

We always used to take ours out of school in September except the exam years and first year
