I drink a lot of water and I always drink tap water, very rarely buy bottled. Whenever I do it tastes strange to me. Our tap water is from a group scheme and when I go to a town or city I find the smell of chlorine from the tap water overpowering.

Who here drinks only bottled water? Do they all taste the same?

Do you find tap water tastes different depending on where you go?

And I'm not talking about sparkling water - that's Satan's juice 🤮

Only drink bottled water now after about 2 years of on and off boil water notices.

And you couldn't be more wrong about sparkling water

Usually only drink tap water, there can be slight differences in taste occasionally but nothing massively noticible. A splash of lemon juice works wonders on a summer day

Only tap water for me unless I’m somewhere I can’t get it. HATE buying plastic bottles of water these days.

I did used to drink bottled water and there was definitely differences in taste. Evian tasted very flat and powdery to me for example.

Westmeath The West.

Drink tap water at home all the time, it's lovely. Find it hard to bring reusable as often manky elsewhere!

Carry a 6 pack of bottled water in the car most of the time.

Love sparkling water, so refreshing!

Mr's is bottled water most of the time.

Limescale is a pain in the arse for household appliances but it’s not bad for you! It’s just calcium and magnesium compounds so nothing that you’re not ingesting daily anyway.

Water from the well at home or filtered tap water. The mains is all lime here. Haven't bought a plastic bottle of water in years and could count on one hand the number I have bought.

Not all sparkling water has a sour taste.

I drink both still and sparkling mineral water. Mainly for the natural minerals content and much better taste than the tap water.

Almost always tap water but I'll sometimes have bottled water if I'm driving long distances.

When out on the mountains there are a few natural springs that are very good and others not so much.

Filled up from a well in a remote area of Spain last year and it was like drinking Iron Bru.

Don't like sparkling water or as they call it in Spain, water with gas.

Always drink tap water and only buy bottles if I'm out and about and feel dehydrated

Tap water definitely tastes better depending on where you are, it's grand where I am but have lived in a few places where it was shocking

Was mostly tapp water but with all the building work around newbridge there have been a few times the water has been discoloured or made me feel sick, so I buy 5l bottles to drink. But still tap water when I'm lazy and haven't been to Lidl. Heard a few things about the flouride(cant spell) they use being bad for your head, and Ireland being one of the few countries left using it.

At home our tap water overwhelmingly tastes and smells of chlorine, so we only drink filtered or bottled water.

Don't mind drinking tap water at a bar or any other public place - as long as it doesn't taste or smell funky

Tap water drinker here. Always have a pint glass of water within arms reach.

Probably drink 6-7 pints of water every day.

I'll only drink bottled water when traveling or when I'm abroad.

I bought a water distiller as the smell of my tap water was disgusting to me and I didn't want to be buying too much plastic.

The gunk at the bottom of the distiller after a few uses is unreal, I'm sure it's a mix of good and bad but I'd rather take it all out then add back in some salt and minerals

I'm a rare beast these days, as I rarely drink water. I've been like this all my life. I simply don't feel thirsty and don't carry water around with me. Where I live the tap water is usually ok, but in some local towns you can't even make tea with it.

Our tap water is fine though.

Unfortunately all public water supply’s are treated with chemicals to purify them. The water still flows through dirty and damaged pipes before it reaches your tap. Suggest using a uv sterilisation system and quality filter before drinking any of it. Most spring wells should be tested for bacteria presence on a regular basis also. Very few of them are pure nowadays due to ground pollution. Enjoy your H2O Fabbers, the source of life
