Was wondering does the rose festival still have the same draw to it like years ago..forget about the lovely girls competition part of it but more the street party and entertainment part of it..i will be down that way for the week,so if there was much interest maybe do a small impromtu social.any interest

Was a good laugh years ago,but it has lost its appeal.am stuck there for the week but not by choice,so trying to see if there are many fabbers down that way..

I have been doing it for the last 8 years and i have seen a big change in the atomsphere ,tv element is cringy but the street element isnt the same buzz..

Yes !! Been there with a well known band and it was some crack .. got back to the rose centre and yes they were up for it.

Far far away

Definitely lost some of its allure bur more family orientated now which isn't a bad thing. Great food markets, amusements and bands... plus fireworks.. come to the kingdom.
