Midlands Charity BBQ...Update.
We are unsure where to start with this update, only that we have been absolutely overwhelmed with the response to our most recent fundraiser for Jigsaw.
This is our second year running the event, and we said if we matched last years figure we'd be over the moon, especially with the rising cost of living, but the generosity on the day, and online donations, to date has raised a whopping
€3,800
We have a few special words of thanks to those who made this day the success that it was.
Bigreddj, our very own Midlands DJ. We didn't kill him, and luckily, he didn't kill us. We asked, he delivered, and probably a little more.
Auldgreg our very own MC for the auction. We made an executive decision and asked Mikey to take control of the auction. What he came up with was epic. A man with many hidden talents. You do know now that you are part of the Midlands Possy.
To Jodi & Jack for taking over the reigns of our very lively chat group. Anyone who knows us, it's not our strong point, but they played a blinder. Our new heads of communication.
To Bogman and Ber of Rushin Reality for aiding with the Fashion Show. I'm not too sure where Bers whip went, but last seen, she was cracking it firmly.
To All Our participants in the fashion show, the auction, the feel a fabber round. Take a Bow. It is no easy task to stand in front of 100 people and do what ye did, and in doing so raise so much money. There were moments in that fashion show that will stay in our hearts and minds forever.
To everyone who donated items for our sale rail that were in turn modelled for our fashion show. It was some haul.
To what must have been the longest raffle in history, to be revised for next year. Thank you to all who donated prizes.
