Laser hair removal.

I have had laser hair removal from a well known clinic a few years ago now. I did return for top ups in the years after but found the machines and therapists changing really not working for me. I have read reviews where people have had similar experiences. Needing a top up again now and I'm looking for recommendations for laser hair removal clinics that you have used. Willing to travel once i get good results. Thanks in advance lovelies xx

I've used Therapie and found them good, but assuming that's who you've also used?

Yep found them good initially but they changed machines 3 times in a very short space of time then and didn't get the results as good after that.

The High St ones with high rent and spend a fortune on advertising and always have a promotion on are the ones to avoid Ive been told by someone in that industry. The staff are sales staff rather than qualified in the beauty industry. Go to a smaller owner owned and ran business.

Stay smooth

With winter just around the corner might be worth leaving the hair for warmth

I thought once it was removed that it was it for life!

That's that idea out the window. I'll stay fluffy and and trimmed. Shaving and waxing cause rashes and ingrown so no good either.

Did you ever try sugaring? I can't get laser due to hair colour and have found it really gentle with no ingrowns or rash etc

I haven't! I may try that once to see.

I am fair haired so my fluffy fanny doesn't bother me and Im very particular about cleanliness. If it bothers others then they don't have to play with me.

I used to get awful ingrown hairs when waxing even using the lycon wax so that's why I went laser route. It's not permanent but have maybe 1/3 of the hairs i had before that grow back and not at the speed I would have had growth before also. Minimal maintenance now but its creeping up so want to get a top up again to nip it.

I met a lovely lady on this months ago and when I came to visit she was using this device called “foreo peach IPL” I also remember her saying it’s expensive, but it’s permanent. And it’s a handheld device, so no travelling etc.

If you want to look it up and give it a try. Hope this helps.

Thanks a mill for that, I think when I have to inflict pain on myself though I wont do it would rather pay someone to inflict the pain on me 😆😆

Urbana has actually been mentioned a few times to me. Great excuse for me to get out of Limerick for a day every so often too.

I used one and I may as well have used a hair dryer to try and blow the hairs off

In and around Louth, Meath, Cavan

I’ve been using Urbana for the last 5 years and find them brilliant girls are lovely and had only 1 personnel change in that time . Only have to get top up every 6 - 8 months . Would definitely recommend them.

Yes I had seen their name pop up on a similar question asked on a Facebook group too, I'm def gonna ring them and book a consult with them, great excuse to head off for the day every few weeks.
