This one is for both sexes-

Ladies, since maybe the start of the year I’ve started experiencing irregular cycles . I’m on the injection and wouldn’t normally get them at all . But that’s changed now . I’ve been to my doc but everything is fine . It’s only really ever very slight. But it’s fucking with my meets , anyone experiencing the same ?

Guys , how pissed are ye when a girl cancels due to a period ? And how likely are ye to go ahead with a meet if the woman only has a very slight show of a period

So mine have always been so regular, although frequent, to the day until last year when I had some bleeding for a month most days. Quite light but I did meet during this time as I was only meeting 1 regular person. It would have put me off meeting others tbh. Now they are a little irregular but actually getting further apart which is great but I did cancel a meet in case it started. Not sure it went down too well but it's about the preferences of both people and if there is a chance it will happen I'd rather the other person knew.

Wish they'd feck off now tho seriously 🤬🤬

It’s the unpredictably that bothers me most .. planning is becoming impossible

Id imagine that's really annoying from a practical point of view in everyday life... But id have absolutely no problem continuing a planned meet with a risk of a tiny bit of blood. It's good to be up front though as some guys are squeamish about this stuff.

Yeah I have thought about not mentioning it because it’s so barely there but that wouldn’t be fair . Like you said , some ppl are squeamish or it’s not something they can see past

I went through an awful few years before I had my hysterectomy and really do sympathise with you. It can be so difficult to plan anything from here. I ended up having to change plans with the same man 3 times but thankfully he was very understanding.

It's definitely easier to discuss with someone you meet regularly rather than a spontaneous meet. I hope things settle for you

It’s understandable if a lady wants to cancel a meet, for whatever reason. I for one don’t mind going ahead with a meet despite a light show, in fact, I find it very feminine and somewhat of a turn on.

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest if a woman was more comfortable cancelling or postponing as a result.

If it was someone I knew and had met before I would carry on with the meet if she was ok with that. It has never been an issue.

I'd be a bit pissed. Not with her but more with the situation (and mother nature), because I would have been looking forward to the meet.

I don't think I'd fuck in that situation. Maybe it's my ignorance, but I'd be concerned there'd be a higher risk involved.

I'd suggest going for a social meet anyway.

I've no problem having sex when she's on her period, but someone new, I'd err on the side of caution.

Is that irrational? Is there actually a higher risk?

It’s a nightmare when it happens. I wouldn't have a play meet if I was on a period but personally I love period sex. I don’t have heavy periods as I have a coil, but it like natural lube😂

I've had a few women let me know just before a planned meet that their period was expected, or had just started. It's natural, and doesn't bother me. I don't like if a period starts unexpectedly during a meet, although many women are blasé about it. Bring your CPR set, as you'll have to revive me and help me up off the floor. It's the smell of blood that I can't stand.

Unfortunately cycles can change throughout a woman's life. I've had similar probs, peri meno and spoke to my GP about it.

Unpredictability can be a literal pain... but l guess l found that being open and honest usually helps.

In the past I used to have unprotected sex with my wife during her period instead of condoms

We also had oral sex once she had a tampon in ....she was extra orgasmic during that time so why not

Big difference between that and a once off meet off fab that you can reorganise

I have always been aware of the issues of ladys cycles, 3 older sisters and have always let the girls ladys as I got older, decide their level of comfort with any meet or interaction. At the emd of the day personal choice comes into it with a good level of communication

Any man worth his salt shouldn't get bum hurt if a meet is cancelled for that reason, there's no enjoying a meet if 1 person is uncomfortable about that, if it doesn't bother you too much then just be up front about it, he'll either be fine too or as was said might be a little squeamish and prefer a rain check

It's a pain in the ass, my cycle has never been regular. I wouldn't meet someone when I'm on even if its very light. I did meet someone before when it was due ( he was aware it cluld come at any time he was happy to go ahead) but i was so paranoid it was gonna come during that i didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. Now myself and Liam would have sex during my period all the time but with a stranger no. I cluld cancel a meet because theyre "due" and then they dont arrive for another 5 days its so frustrating.

I find it hard to be confident when I’m not feeling comfortable in myself so it definitely does effect wether I meet sometimes

I much rather the lady was upfront and explained her situation. Definitely wouldn’t like her to cancel.if she wasnt comfortable meeting for a play I’d try to encourage her to still meet for a coffee or tea to reassure her I wasn’t just interested in sex. If she was comfortable playing and there was a connection between us both I’d have no problem going ahead with things. Prepare things a little different and make sure there was hot water for both to shower afterwards and cuddle up. Communication and honesty is key.
