Oh.. one more while I'm at it.. why do most of you not bother reading profiles?? Surely that would then eliminate the need for the "Oh woe is me, nobody reads my messages" threads??

Genuine answer from someone that doesn't send any messages apart from the threads I start

I think some men think sure women are only aul slappers gagging for a ride if they're on here so I'll send them a message and I'll be knee deep in naked women by doing so

I like to think of them as the lads that sit at the bar in the local pub and don't know how to talk to women at all

To answer your second question, it’s probably boob blindness. I’ve said it many a time, it can be a very debilitating condition that can leave you dazed, confused and can lead to people not being able to read.

To your first question, maybe they believe that taking a photo of themselves will result in their souls being pulled from their bodies and imprisoned in the photo

My filters are tighter than a nuns fanny but the occasional blank siloutte profile slips through. So I've taken to trolling them telling them blank siloutte profiles are such a turn on and of course I'll meet a random person off the internet with out knowing what they look like

Tbh a profile pic , whatever if is , should be a compulsory thing here , if no profile pic , no membership, l'd imagine it's very difficult for any lady to get a message from a silloette, what is she supposed to think ??

As regards profiles , they should be read everytime before even thinking of writing a message , they're written for a reason , the person that writes them writes them for a reason , if you fit into them , great , if you don't , move on .

I genuinely wonder how many profiles are just fantasists, with no intention or desire to meet in person, therefore spending time uploading pics, writing a bio or reading one are pointless. I might be out like a lighthouse but the longer I am here the more credence I am putting in the theory.

Thankfully we have filters that block male profiles but we get just as many terrible messages from “couples” and single women profiles.

We love the ones that state in the profile that they don’t accept friend requests or don’t answer one liner messages etc and yet they will add us as a friend even if we’ve never spoken and also send a single (hi) message,

There should be more options available to block profiles ( if a couple have been on the site for over a year and are not at least photo verified, it’s just a guy )

Getting photo verified should be the 1st thing a profile can do !

Obviously different strokes for different folks and all that,

Just our opinion

Hmmmm. I think there are a lot of male AND female profiles (which are the ones I look at) that I assume aren't interested in real meets but use it as a modern 'readers wives column' (kids ask your dads) and just like the porn and sense of realness to Americanised pornhub etc.

Plus theres a phrase in TENET 'you never hear about the bombs that never went off'. The OPs Profile was one of my absolute favs on here as it was written wonderfully and gorgeous pics, but I never messaged as her profile doesn't want men like me. And we respect that and dont message.

But there are others who seem to hit EVERY PROFILE. Like every new female profile seems to get 900+ messages in a month regardless of photo or silhouette...

No idea what the point of THAT is.
