You might imagine having a free night in a City hotel to be the ultimate hurdle sorted for a night of fun! Anyone else find it difficult to arrange a meet while away? I know hotels can be awkward to get into for non residents but that's easily fixed. Maybe a fab nominated hotel in the larger towns and cities might work?

When you say the ultimate hurdle are your referring to yourself or others?

A night in an hotel is probably well down the list of things that people look for in deciding whether to meet someone or not.

No, I mean quite often accommodation is a major issue when trying to arrange a meet.

I would imagine one can get a hotel in most areas… having a hotel room wouldn’t automatically guarantee someone will meet you though, I would have thought finding someone who wants to meet would be the main hurdle? Once there are two+ willing participants, somewhere to meet is usually quite easy to arrange in my experience. The more I think about it actually, if anything having a hotel limits you to time and place to meet so less likely to find someone where and when suits you

Having the hotel room isn't the thing , it's getting someone to agree to meet you there , don't put the cart before the horse , you can get a hotel room anytime but not a meet anytime .

He is , but 1st things 1st , a lady isn't gonna be at his hotel room just like that just because he has a hotel room , a lady's safety & well being is No.1 & that's the way they think & rightly so , get the meet organised the way she wants it , everything A1 after meet , get all the hotel rooms you want .

Yes it is when away for work, and I would always try to plan a meet we'll in advance. Problem is that fabbers local to the area are often afraid of being recognised.
