Green Day in Nashville back in 2005 for the American Idiot Tour. What a show. Jimmy Eat World in the Olympia. Seen them countless times and also Ash in the Olympia. Seeing Green Day in America was top of the list for big concerts but I'm more of a small venue fan. Better atmosphere, more intimate, better craic. Thats from both sides of playing on stage and also watching bands.

It's completely different from going to gigs/concerts here in Ireland. The atmosphere is just insane. You could go to a show on your own and by the end of it you've made new friends and have been invited to a bbq/wedding. I miss those days

"Also was at slane 03 foo fighters/chilli peppers which was amazing"

This was an unbelievable concert. Red Hot Chilli Peppers have to be the tightest bands I've ever seen. The concert was made into a DVD. Hardly a chord or note out for the whole concert. The place was rocking. It's on You tube.

Slane is a magical venue for a good band. U2 we're excellent there as well.

Cranberries in Feile 92 or 93 rocked the place. Only a kid, no idea why my parents let me go, with my big brother. Probably wanted a quite weekend to themselves

Oasis in Maralay park were good. Seen them in Cork back in 95 aswell.

If you look up AC\DC at the Riverplate concert in Argentina 2009, it's an unbelievable concert and atmosphere. Seen them twice last year, music was excellent, vocals were OK.

Metalica in Moscow 1991, Enter Sandman is just 250k of a crowd going nuts.

You were at monsters of rock in 91? Moscow? I have my doubts. Reports were 500,000 people.

Personal opinion, from viewing, ac/dc live at Donnington '93 was vastly superior.

Others have said it but I wholeheartedly agree - Daft Punk, Oxygen 2007.

I'd been a fan of their music before that but was torn between going to them or the killers. I don't regret my choice.

The crowd was heaving and the music was excellent. What made it stand out was the synchronisation of light and sound. On a lovely summer's evening as dusk fell the lights came up. It was a brilliant sensory experience.

Just looking at the details now - almost 18 years to the day.

I'm just wondering why you haven't msged me already.
